In spring 2007, the Mississippi Office of Nursing Workforce (ONW) established six (6) High School Nurse Mentorship Academies throughout Mississippi. Below are the sites along with the names of the funders and partners:

Greenwood Nurse Mentorship Academy

• 17 students enrolled

Pascagoula & Ocean Springs Nurse Mentorship Academy

• Funded by the University of MS Medical Center’s Health Disparities Grant
• Pascagoula High School and Key’s Technology Center

• MS Gulf Coast Community College
• 13 students enrolled

Greenville Nurse Mentorship Academy

MS Job Corps Nurse Mentorship Academy
